OUR STORY

We met 5 years ago in The Hague where we fell in love and started thinking of our future together. If you know us, you know that we love to cook, share stories and discover new tastes. It didn’t take long for us to know that we want to create a place where people can find delicious satisfying food and flavorful cocktails and drinks while enjoying each other's company.

 

When being two of the most different people we found that it works the best if you find a balance in everything. That’s why we combined our backgrounds - Nidal previously owned a restaurant in South-East Asia and being an amazing cook specialized in meat and Mediterranean cuisine and Sonata being an artist, cocktail enthusiast and vegan, for many years embracing that plant based power. Just like this we created bonobo’s eclectic international kitchen and exciting cocktail menu where people with the most different tastes and preferences can find a delicious meal and drink for them.

We thrive to always deliver the best experience for people who come often and even became good friends or just stopped by while on a short trip. We work very hard everyday and hope that people who come across bonobo can feel the love we put in our place.
